REQUIREMENT

Electrical and mechanical hazards must not be accessible to the user.


TEST METHOD

The standard defines a test finger Figure 2A (Figure 19) and a test pin Figure 2B (Figure 20), which are used to probe any openings to see if electrical or mechanical hazards are accessible. The test finger is used with a force of up to 30 N to see whether it can be pushed through openings.

An additional test probe for testing accessibilty to TNV circuits is shown in Figure 2C (Figure 16).
