Enclosures shall have adequate mechanical strength and shall be so constructed as to withstand such rough handling as may be expected in normal use.
TEST METHODA force of 250 N is applied to external enclosures for a
period of 5 seconds via a circular plane surface 30 mm in diameter.
Parts of an enclosure in an operator access area, protected by a cover or door are subjected to a force of 30 N applied
via a straight unjointed test finger.
After these tests, the product shall not be damaged in any way that would cause a hazard.
